The chapter held a class on stream assessment taught by Jim MacCartney, TU staffer in New Hampshire. Our objective is to evaluate streams in the area to assess their potential for protetection under special regulations and habitat improvement through stream restoration. At the conclusion of the class we scheduled two reaches of stream for assessment, the Middle Branch of the Piscataquog and Sand Brook.
