By  Jerry Bernier

Hook:              Size 16 to 20 dry fly

Thread:          Black

Body:              Peacock herl

Hackle:          Grizzly, palmered

Head:              Black thread

Fish dry or in surface film to imitate a cluster of midges.  Can also be tied with different colored thread (red, orange, white, etc.)  This is a good fly for fishing spring creeks or tail-waters in the winter, as well as ponds in the fall or any time midges are hatching.
