1. Tie in four strands of Krystal Flash at the front of hook,
leave space for wings and cheek (three to four eye lengths). Rap Krystal Flash
to bend and then forward. Repeat until all of Krystal flash is used, two or
three times.
2. Coat Krystal Flash with Hard as Nails or head cement.
3. Tie in six strands of Krystal Flash on top of hook; extend slightly past
bend of hook.
4. Tie in Goat Hair for belly, extended slightly past bend of hook
5. Select two gray saddle hackle feathers. Length should be ¼ to ½
inch beyond bend of hook. Tie in feathers on top or side depending upon preference.
6. Select two Lady Amherst feathers, cheek length should be about 1/3 hook length.
7 Select two Jungle Cock feathers. Glue Jungle Cock to Lady Amherst feathers.
Hard as Nails can be used to glue feathers in place.
8. Position checks so Jungle Cock feather is level with hook shank.
9. Whip Finish head.
